Ring
This is a ring. It was designed by Giampaolo Babetto. It is dated 1981 and we acquired it in 2016. Its medium is gold. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.
Babetto uses combinations of parallelograms to create dynamic counterpoints between closed and open structure in this ring, accentuated by the play of light on its angled, textured gold surfaces.
