This is a Drawing. It was created by Jan van der Straet, called Stradanus and collaborator: Luigi Alamanni and published by Philips Galle and engraved by Hans Collaert II and Theodor Galle and subject: Pietro de' Crescenzi and Conrad Gessner. It is dated ca. 1596 and we acquired it in 1901. Its medium is pen and ink, brush and brown wash over black chalk on laid paper. It is a part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department.

It is credited Museum purchase through gift of various donors.
