Sara Hendren
Sara Hendren (American, b. 1973) is an artist, design researcher, and writer focused on disability rights and inclusive design. She is an Assistant Professor at Olin College, where she recently launched the Adaptation + Ability Group dedicated to making adaptive and assistive tools with client-collaborators. Hendren is the principal investigator of “Sketch Model: Cultural and Technological Pathways for a Complex Future,” a three-year program (2017-2020) at Olin College funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. She runs Abler, a website investigating the relationship of technology and the human body.
