Whim Mobile App
This is a Whim Mobile App. It was designed by Whim and MaaS Global Ltd. It is dated 2015. It is a part of the department.
The mobile app, Whim, promotes “Mobility as a Service” (MaaS). Both subscription-based and pay-as-you-go, the app charts multimodal travel routes with seamless connections between public transit, bikes, taxis, and car sharing. Focusing on the user’s needs and the convenience of a network that combines different modes of transport will hopefully inspire people to be less dependent on private car ownership and use alternative means of transport. Whim is currently used in Birmingham, England, Helsinki, and Antwerp.
