This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from Christie Mayer Lefkowith Collection as part of The Jazz Age: American Style in the 1920s.

Vienna-born American fashion entrepreneur self-named Hattie Carnegie not only provided her customers with the latest fashions but marketed her own line of perfume, made in France to her specifications.

It is credited Christie Mayer Lefkowith Collection.
