Cono Brooch
This is a Brooch. It was designed by Renzo Pasquale. It is dated 2015 and we acquired it in 2016. Its medium is stoneware (gres ceramic), gold with neillo (alloy of silver, copper, and lead sulfides). It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.
Driven by the beauty of line and form, and known for his work with gold and semi-precious stones, in this brooch Pasquale overcomes technical challenges to combine dissimilar ceramic, gold, and niello materials.
