Map of Venice Brooch
This is a Brooch. It was designed by Stefano Marchetti. It is dated 1999 and we acquired it in 2016. Its medium is inlaid copper, silver, gold. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.
Marchetti uses a mosaic-like metal inlay technique in his Map of Venice brooch, which is an imaginative abstracted representation of the shimmering waters of this fabled city.
