Cooper Hewitt is being offered as a gift a sample of Telescopic wallpaper designed by Michele Oka Doner for Studio Printworks. This is a color strike-off that shows one of nine different colorways developed in collaboration between the artist and Studio Printworks. This sample contains just less than one repeat and is inscribed in the top right corner with handwritten printing notations. The brown paper was left exposed at the top to show the effect of the printed ground when applied over the colored paper. This sample was sent to the artist for evaluation and to approve the printed colors, paper stock and the overall effect of the print.
