Border, Pocket Change
This is a Border. It was produced by The Jack Denst Designs, Inc.. It is dated ca. 1970 and we acquired it in 2004. Its medium is screen printed on mylar foil. It is a part of the Wallcoverings department.
Pocket Change is a border that was produced in 1977 by Jack Denst Designs. Jack Denst began designing wallpaper in 1947 and has received several major design awards, including the A.I.D. award for Good Design in 1961 and the Justin P. Allman Award in 1967.
Pocket Change is proposed for acquisition together with Alimony and Castles in Spain. These would be the first full rolls by Jack Denst Designs to enter the museum’s collection. This rare opportunity to receive rolls in mint condition would be a great benefit, as sample book pages never show the full repeat.
