Print (Italy)
This is a Print. We acquired it in 1985. It is a part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department.
The Arch of Constantine dates from 312 A.D. and is one of the three surviving antique triumphal arches in Rome. Erected hastily to celebrate Constantine’s victory over Maxentius, it incorporates sculpture remaining from earlier buildings.
It is credited Bequest of Elizabeth Steward Barnwell.
