Textile (Peru)

This is a Textile. It is dated 1200–1500 and we acquired it in 1969. Its medium is cotton, wool and its technique is discontinuous supplementary weft in plain weave foundation; plain weave patterned by brocaded supplementary weft floats. note: this fabric has four selveges. It is a part of the Textiles department.
