Bowl (Iran)

This is a bowl. It is dated 13th century and we acquired it in 1958. Its medium is glazed and lustered stonepaste. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.


Bold cobalt blue stripes characterize a group of lustered ceramics associated with production in Kashan, Iran from the 12th to the 14th century.
