Miser's Purse (possibly USA)

This is a Miser's purse. It is dated 1890–1910 and we acquired it in 1957. Its medium is silk, glass beads, metal and its technique is knitting with openwork stitch. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Estate of Mrs. Lathrop Colgate Harper. It is credited Gift of the estate of Mrs. Lathrop Colgate Harper.
