Carpet Fragment (USA)

This is a Carpet fragment. It was manufactured by Bigelow Carpet Company. It is dated 1849–1900 and we acquired it in 1957. Its medium is wool, hemp and its technique is cut pile on plain weave ground. It is a part of the Textiles department.
