Lettered in plate, lower center: LA PLACE ROYALE DE PARIS laquelle fut commancée l’an 1604 par l’ordre de Henry 4 et achevée quelque temps apres. Son dessein estoit d’y loger des Ouvriers et d’y établir des manufactures, mais par se ne scay quell/ changement des particuliers s’y sont fait des logemens magnifiques: La statue de Bronze de Louis 13 qui est au milieu est de Biar et le Cheval qui la porte est de Daniel de Volterre. ils furent posez l’an 1639.
