Smell, The Beauty of Decay: SmellScape Central Park Autumn 2015

This is a Smell. It was designed by Sissel Tolaas and company: International Flavors and Fragrances, Inc. (IFF). It is dated 2015–2016. Its medium is microencapsulation.

For Beauty—Cooper Hewitt Design Triennial, the museum commissioned Tolaas to create a new smell inspired by Central Park in New York City. Tolaas spent several days there in October 2015 gathering distinctive smells.

It is credited Commissioned by Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
