Print, Memory Palace, for Sky Arts Ignition: Memory Palace exhibition, Victoria and Albert Museum

This is a Print. It was designed by Francesco Franchi. It is dated 2013. Its medium is digital print.

Franchi’s digital print Memory Palace, commissioned by the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, maps the history of memory techniques that were used before the age of print to store information in the mind. In this tradition, people imagined the rooms of a palace and associated chunks of information with the different rooms.
