This is a dish. It was manufactured by Copeland & Garrett and Spode Ceramic Works. It is dated 1821–1833 and we acquired it in 1959. Its medium is porcelain (feldspar), vitreous enamel, gold. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by Emily H. Chauncey. It is credited Bequest of Emily H. Chauncey.

Underside: [1] "Spode" above "Felspar / Porcelain" surrounded by floral wreath, transfer-printed in purple overglaze (manufactory mark) [2] "9" or "6", impressed underglaze [3] circle within cross, impressed underglaze (possibly year cipher)
