Salver, Ecuelle And Cover (Germany), ca. 1725

This is a Salver, ecuelle and cover. It was made by Johann Erhard Heuglin II. It is dated ca. 1725 and we acquired it in 1960. Its medium is gilt silver. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by Estate of James Hazen Hyde. It is credited Gift of the Estate of James Hazen Hyde.

It has the following markings

On underside and upper side of salver: pineapple with seven lobes around central lobe above a solid base; misstruck: "I E H" in a heart-shaped shield surround; assay test marks on underside; on upper side: Augsburg mark
