Solar Home Lighting System
This is a Project. It was designed by SELCO-India. It is dated ca. 1994. Its medium is solar panel, luminaries, charge controller.
Electricity reaches a limited portion of the world’s population. Candles, kerosene, and oil lamps are some of the most common options for basic lighting, with dry cells and automotive batteries used to power radios, televisions, and appliances. These sources are low-quality, expensive, and dangerous, but they are the only options to rural communities. The wireless Solar Home Lighting System enables families to improve their productivity by allowing them to pursue income-generating activities in the evening while their children have better light for studying.
