Future Cycles
This is a Project. It was designed by The Future People. It is dated 2012–present.
Future Cycles uses speculative vehicles, short films, and public deployments to explore new forms of mobility, test the legal and public acceptance of those forms, and engage the public in reflection about the current transportation system. Cars are a liability and expensive to maintain for most Americans. The team builds alternative human-powered vehicles that are simple in design and viable for commuting at no daily cost to the user, combining the efficiency of a bicycle or moped with the weather protection and carrying capacity of a car.
