Catalogue, Bigelow Custom Carpets

This is a Catalogue. It was designed by Dorothy Wright Liebes and produced by Bigelow-Sanford Carpet Company.

This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from Jennifer Cohlman Bracchi as part of A Dark, A Light, A Bright: The Designs of Dorothy Liebes.

It is dated 1967. Its medium is offset lithograph on coated paper. It is a part of the Exhibitions department.


This brochure advertises "some of the most distinctive creative work of Dorothy Liebes, international authority on textile design..." but many of the designs, including Garden Path, were actually by Emma Amos and other studio designers.
