Textile (possibly Poland)

This is a Textile. It is dated 18th–19th century and we acquired it in 1981. Its medium is silk and its technique is 3/1 twill patterned by continuous and discontinuous supplementary wefts bound on the front in 1/3 twill and bound on the back in the same twill. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Lois Clarke. It is credited Gift of Lois Clarke in Memory of Alice Baldwin Beer.
