Poster, Design Matters Live: Life, Love and the Pursuit of Design (AIGA San Francisco)

This is a Poster. It was made for (as the client) American Institute of Graphic Arts. It is dated 2007 and we acquired it in 2007. Its medium is off-set lithography on mylar (untrimmed). It is a part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department.

This is an untrimmed printer’s proof of a Marian Bantjes poster. It shows registration marks around the edges and a slight variation in color is evident when compared to the published poster.
As a document, this proof serves to explain the production process and its acquisition would aid in the understanding of contemporary offset printing. It would also serve as an important companion piece to the finished poster donated by Marion Bantjes.

This object was donated by Ellen Lupton. It is credited Gift of Ellen Lupton.

Its dimensions are

Sheet: 88.6 x 58.1 cm (34 7/8 x 22 7/8 in.)Needs Custom Metal Frame
