This is a Textile. It was designed by Alexander Hayden Girard and produced by Herman Miller Furniture Company. It is dated 1959 and we acquired it in 1969. Its medium is linen (98%) and cotton (2%) and its technique is vertical bands of plain weave joined by long weft floats, with discontinuous supplementary warp patterning. It is a part of the Textiles department.
