Sample, Ombra Dots, 1957

This is a Sample. It was designed by Alexander Hayden Girard and produced by Herman Miller Furniture Company. It is dated 1957 and we acquired it in 1969. Its medium is linen (98%) and cotton (2%) and its technique is vertical bands of plain weave joined by long weft floats, with discontinuous supplementary weft patterning. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Alexander Hayden Girard. It is credited Gift of Alexander H. Girard.
