Kioto Platter

This is a platter. It was manufactured by Bates, Gildea & Walker. It is dated ca. 1879–81 and we acquired it in 1999. Its medium is glazed earthenware. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by Brooklyn Museum. It is credited Gift of the Brooklyn Museum of Art, Paul F. Walter Collection.
