Sidewall, Petite Safari
This is a sidewall. It was designed by William Skilling and manufactured by Karl Mann Associates. It is dated 1963 and we acquired it in 1990. Its medium is screen-printed paper. It is a part of the Wallcoverings department.
A fun and whimsical paper for children that would allow them to create their own little safaris. The jungle scene contains images of lions and tigers and monkeys, oh my, all peeking out of or swinging from the dense foliage. The design is rendered in a naïve manner, as might be drawn by a child, and printed in a minimal color palette.
