Underside of vase: [1] “RP”, impressed with 14 flames (manufacturer’s mark; 1900-) [2] "IX", impressed (date mark; 1909) [3] "E.T.H.", incised (decorator's mark) [4] “925B”, impressed, ‘925’ (shape number; 1901-), ‘B’ (size mark)* [5] “V”, incised (surface treatment mark, Vellum) [6] ”V”, impressed (surface treatment mark; Vellum) *Shape #925 was first created in May 1901 and the “B” size’s production preceded the smaller “D,” “C,” and “CC” sizes.
