Poster, He's A Fighting Fool
This is a Poster. It was graphic design by Fred Ludekens and published by U.S. Government Printing Office and made for (as the client) War Production Board. It is dated 1942 and we acquired it in 1949. Its medium is lithograph on paper. It is a part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department.
Similar to “You knock ‘em out…”, “He’s a fightin’ fool…” illustrates the necessity of war time production back home. Without the cooperation and dedication of the people working in the factories in the U.S. this soldier would be unable to continue fighting. The War Production Board shows U.S. citizens that the work they did directly impacted the work of U.S. soldiers.
