This is a Pendant. It was made by Antonio Civilotti. It is dated ca. 1850 and we acquired it in 1946. Its medium is enamel, gold, 24 pearls and 46 diamonds.. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.
The Roman jeweler Civilotti, located on the Piazza di Spagna, was also well-known for his cameo jewelry. (Jewelry 1989-90)
