Stand for Oil or Vinegar Cruets (Porte Huilier or Porte Vinaigrier) Cruet Stand

This is a cruet stand. It was manufactured by Mennecy Porcelain Manufactory. It is dated mid- 18th century and we acquired it in 1977. Its medium is soft paste porcelain, vitreous enamel. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by Mrs. John Jay Ide. It is credited The John Jay Ide Collection.
