This is a Towel. It is dated 1920–29 and we acquired it in 1974. Its medium is cotton, silk, metal-wrapped cotton and its technique is plain weave with discontinuous supplementary weft; weft over spun z-twist; ends finished by warp ends twisted and knotted forming a fringe. It is a part of the Textiles department.
