Fragments (possibly Spain)

This is a Fragments. It is dated 19th century and we acquired it in 1974. Its medium is silk and its technique is plain weave patterned by floats of alternate wefts; floats of discontinuous supplementary wefts, and a set of supplementary warps to create a textured background. It is a part of the Textiles department.
