Table Cover (Spain)

This is a Table cover. It is dated 18th century and we acquired it in 1969. Its medium is linen, silk and its technique is embroidered on plain weave using satin, cross stitch, and stem stitch; bobbin lace attached; hem-stitching at each end of fabric. It is a part of the Textiles department.
