This is a Bag. It is dated 1750–1800 and we acquired it in 1962. Its medium is silk, metal and its technique is stem, running and knot stitches using attached coils of gilt wire and gilt spangles. trimmed with floral vine made of dyed silks bound to wire. It is a part of the Textiles department.
