This is a Pleated fan. It is dated mid- 18th–mid- 19th century and we acquired it in 1955. Its medium is linen bobbin lace leaf, carved and painted ivory sticks, rivet set with faceted glass, gilt metal bail. It is a part of the Textiles department.
