Bank Note, Landing of Columbus

This is a bank note. It was engraved by American Bank Note Company and after John Vanderlyn. It is dated ca. 1870 and we acquired it in 1952. Its medium is engraving in black ink on paper, laid down. It is a part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department.

This object was donated by Mrs. William Denby. It is credited Gift of Mrs. William Denby.
