Custard Cup Cup

This is a cup. It was manufactured by Tournai Porcelain Factory. It is dated mid- 18th–18th century and we acquired it in 1938. Its medium is soft paste porcelain, vitreous enamel. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was bequest of Erskine Hewitt. It is credited Bequest of Erskine Hewitt.

Underside: [1] two crossed swords surrounded by four crosses painted in underglaze blue (manufactory mark) [2] two further marks, painted in underglaze blue (unknown)
