Tile (England)

This is a Tile. It was made by Joseph Fowler Factory and painted by Michael Edkins. It is dated ca. 1760 and we acquired it in 1938. Its medium is tin-enameled earthenware, underglaze manganese, overglaze white slip decoration. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

It is credited Museum purchase from Friends of the Museum Fund.
