Pleated Fan

This is a Pleated fan. It is dated ca. 1840 and we acquired it in 1935. Its medium is gilded paper leaf with chromolithograph, pierced and gilded ivory sticks. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Georgiana L. McClellan. It is credited Gift of Mrs. George B. McClellan.
