Textile Fragment, mid- 18th century

This is a Textile fragment. It is dated mid- 18th century and we acquired it in 1931. Its medium is silk, metallic yarns and its technique is complex woven with discontinuous supplementary weft patterning (brocade). It is a part of the Textiles department.
