Cann Cann

This is a cann. It is dated ca. 1760 and we acquired it in 1926. Its medium is silver. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was bequest of Mrs. John Innes Kane. It is credited Bequest of Mrs. John Innes Kane.

On underside of cann: [1] “WW” in a rectangle, impressed (maker’s mark) [2] “W. Wright” in script, impressed (possibly maker’s mark)
