This is a Print. It was published by Nicolas Langlois and print maker: Adam Perelle and Gabriel Perelle and sculpted by François Girardon. It is dated 1669–1703 and we acquired it in 1920. Its medium is etching on laid paper. It is a part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department.

Lettered in plate, lower center: LA FONTAINE DE LA PIRAMIDE, dans le grand parterre de Gazon à Versailles est composée de 4. Bassins l’un sur l’autre dont le premier est Soûtenu par de grands Tri-/tons le 2e par de jeunes Tritons, le 3e par 4 Dauphins, et le 4e par 4. Escrevisses; audessus est un vase d’ou sort un jet d’eaü. Aux deux côtez de cette Fontaine sont 2./bassins ronds avec une couronne soûtenuë par des Tritons et des Sirennes, le tout est de bronze d’oré la Fontaine est du Sr. Girardon et les deux Bassins sont faits par les Srs. Baptiste/ Thuby et le Hongre
