Inscribed in graphite, at upper left: Parts strongly marked pale pure yellow green / other leaves ordinary; at upper center: Parasite rich green / Dead tree/ leaves at least three / feet long; at top right: Network / of vines / - dead - ;at lower left: Vines growing / up on the stems of the rope vine; at lower center: High tree [struck out: 'with'] in flower, closely resembles / the chestnut; at lower right: dead top of tree; and again at lower center: top of tree.
