Textile (England)

This is a Textile. It is dated 1840–49 and we acquired it in 1916. Its medium is cotton and its technique is printed on plain weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.

The bands fill the width of the fabric and were printed one after the other on the length of fabric.

This object was donated by Mrs. William P. Treadwell. It is credited Gift of Mrs. William P. Treadwell.
