Drawing, Gardens of Bacchus
This is a Drawing. It was created by Gabriel Huquier and after Antoine Watteau and attributions: Antoine Watteau. We acquired it in 1911. Its medium is black chalk, brush and black ink, wash, traces of stylus on thick white laid paper, lined. It is a part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department.
This fragment appears to be unfinished, the leather has been varnished, embossed, and stamped but the flowers and leaves have not been painted.
This object was donated by Advisory Council.
