On the left geometric shapes, including diamonds and squares, are drawn in a repeating pattern in blue ink and labeled color a, b and c, using the term [filler colors] which is written on the left in blue ink. In the center the same pattern is repeated this time in color, using orange, blue and magenta. Underneath [color system ignore shades] is written in blue ink. On the right are ten rows of a color chart which are divided into six columns, with thirty colors labeled underneath in pencil. The columns are labelled [way, color a, color b, color c, warp: white, black], while the rows are numbered one through ten. The first row contains [pink, ultra l. and orange]; the second contains [emerald, violet and crimson], the third [white, silver and yellow], the fourth [black, sepia and raw umber], the fifth [crimson, magenta and orage], the sixth [ultra, royal blue and silver], the seventh [black, silver and gun metal], the eighth [peacock, royal blue and crystal green], the ninth fuchsia, magenta and crimson] and the tenth [bronze, gold and copper]. The black and gun metal in row seven and the peacock in row eight have the words [sample unavailable] written in place of the color. In the top left [pattern series no. 135] is written in blue ink in lowercase letters.
