Kadri Mälk

Kadri Malk born in Tallinn, Estonia is a noted artist and jewelry designer. She studied Fine Art at the Tartu Art School in 1977, before turning to jewelery studies at the Estonian Academy of Arts, where she graduated in 1986. Between 1986 and 1993, Mälk worked as a freelance artist. In 1993, she enrolled at the Lahti Design Institute in Finland, studying gemmology. She completed her studies at Bernd Munsteiner's lapidary studio in Germany. Mälk has been at the Estonian Academy of Arts since 1989, and has been a professor in the jewelry department since 1996. Her jewelry has won many awards and has been shown in museums and exhibitions throughout Europe and Scandinavia, in the United Kingdom, Japan, and... more.
