Michael Jank
Bettina Dittlemann and Michael Jank received their education primarily through a silversmith apprenticeship in Neugablonz, Germany from 1983-1986. They then studied at the Akademi der Bildende Künste in Munich under Professor Hermann Jünger and Professor Otto Künzli, and at SUNY New Paltz under Professor Jamie Bennett from 1987-1993. They have received awards for their work, including the Herbert Hofmann Award, the Bayerischer Staats Prize, the Luitpold Stiftung Regent Prize, and the Forderpreis der Stadt in Munich. Their work has also been featured in many public collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
